WATCH: Ashwin-Dhoni combine to stump Nitish Rana during RR vs CSK IPL 2025 match

MS Dhoni inflicted his third stumping of the IPL 2025 season during Chennai Super Kings’ match against Rajasthan Royals in Guwahati on Sunday.

Dhoni partnered with R Ashwin to remove a well-set Nitish Rana, who was on 81 off 35 balls, during the 12th over of the innings.

Ashwin intentionally kept the ball wide off the left-hander Rana, who came down the track chasing the ball. However, he missed the ball, and Dhoni quickly collected it and stumped him to give CSK a breakthrough.

Before this, Dhoni already recorded two stumpings this season: first against Mumbai Indians get Suryakumar Yadav out then against Royal Challengers Bengaluru to get rid of Phil Salt.
